Capacity Development Support for “Equal rights, equal opportunities” NGO
- Objective 1 – To contribute to the full protection of the electoral rights of voters with disabilities in Armenia by ensuring awareness-raising, provision of guidelines, and monitoring during mobile ballot voting in stationary medical and military medical institutions.
- Objective 2- To strengthen the internal management and financial capacities of the “Equal rights, equal opportunities” NGO.
- Duration – 4 months (March 2 – June 30 2026)
- Target group – Staff of the “Equal rights, equal opportunities” NGO, voters in medical institutions and those voting via mobile ballot boxes

The “Equal rights, equal opportunities” NGO is implementing its capacity development process in cooperation with the “Disability Rights Agenda” NGO, within the framework of the project “Monitoring Mobile Ballot Voting: Safeguarding Electoral Rights of Voters with Disabilities in Armenia.”
It is planned to develop a digital guide on the protection of voters’ rights during mobile ballot voting in stationary medical and military medical institutions. The guide will be provided to the staff of these institutions for printing and display, as well as for informing voters using mobile ballot boxes.
It is also planned to recruit and train observers from the Lori, Tavush, and Shirak regions, who will carry out monitoring on election day in stationary medical and military medical institutions during the mobile ballot voting process.
In addition, the project will include the development of the organization’s official website and the organization of a training course for staff on financial management skills.
Results
- Launch of the organization’s official website, ensuring access to information and increasing the organization’s visibility.
- Development and use of a digital guide on the protection of voters’ rights during mobile ballot voting in stationary medical and military medical institutions.
- Availability of guidelines in stationary medical and military medical institutions, contributing to increased voter awareness.
- Recruitment of observers in Lori, Tavush, and Shirak regions.
- Improved financial management capacities of the organization’s staff.
