- Goal – To support an inclusive, accessible, and participatory electoral process by promoting the full realization of the electoral rights of persons with disabilities and raising awareness of inclusive communication among stakeholders involved in electoral processes

The project is implemented within the framework of UNDP Advancing Reforms for Transparent and Inclusive Management of Electoral Systems in Armenia-ARTEMIS Project.
Six online awareness-raising sessions will be conducted to enhance the knowledge and understanding of persons with disabilities regarding electoral rights, voting procedures, and opportunities for participation in electoral processes. The sessions will be delivered in an interactive format and will cover key topics, including electoral procedures, voter rights, accessibility considerations, and practical guidance on participation in elections.
An awareness-raising campaign will be implemented through the production and dissemination of eight accessible video materials aimed at promoting inclusive and accessible electoral participation.
Persons with disabilities will be actively engaged in the development of the campaign, including concept design, script development, and presentation, ensuring that the content reflects authentic experiences and perspectives.
The campaign will communicate key messages related to equal participation, accessible voting, and the importance of inclusive elections, and will be disseminated through social media platforms and online channels to ensure wide public outreach. All materials will be produced in accessible formats, including subtitles and, where feasible, sign language interpretation.
A public exhibition titled “I Will Vote Because…” will be organized to showcase personal stories and visual narratives of persons with disabilities, highlighting the importance of inclusive participation in electoral processes.
The exhibition will serve as a public engagement platform, encouraging dialogue and raising awareness among the broader public. An interactive component will be included to allow visitors to share their own reflections on voting and participation. The event will be documented and further disseminated through media and social media platforms to extend its reach beyond the immediate location.
Results
- Improved knowledge and awareness among persons with disabilities on electoral rights, voting procedures, and participation mechanisms, enabling more informed and confident engagement in electoral processes;
- Enhanced public awareness and understanding of inclusive and accessible elections,
- Increased visibility of the perspectives and experiences of persons with disabilities in the electoral context, contributing to more inclusive public discourse
